Qualifications:

About the Role:
A.G. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is critical to our operations, representing the “tip of the spear” in delivering and supporting our innovative industrial machinery across the U.S.

As a Field Service Technician, you will gain specialized skills by installing and servicing custom-built equipment on-site for our clients. You’ll also train machine operators on proper use and ensure systems are running to spec. When not traveling, you’ll assist with machine assembly at our manufacturing facility in Weyers Cave, VA. This position requires professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to install and service A.G. machinery
• Train operators and provide on-site troubleshooting and support
• Study blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures

• Diagnose and repair defective components, wiring, or mechanical parts

As the Buyer, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, placing and tracking orders, and ensuring products are properly accounted for. Attention to detail is essential, as you’ll closely monitor vendor pricing for discrepancies and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure purchasing needs are met.
