About the Role:
A.G. is seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Design Engineer to join our accomplished engineering team. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll be responsible for designing electrical control solutions and overseeing the electrical design process for custom machinery in the corrugated industry.
Your day-to-day work will involve creating electrical schematics, programming components such as PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs, and collaborating closely with our design and manufacturing teams. You will also provide technical support for advanced machinery and technology, leveraging cutting-edge tools like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and digital twin systems.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects from development through manufacturing, working alongside Service, Sales, and Production departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:

Field Service Technician
Position: Field Service Technician

About the Role:
A.G. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is critical to our operations, representing the “tip of the spear” in delivering and supporting our innovative industrial machinery across the U.S.
As a Field Service Technician, you will gain specialized skills by installing and servicing custom-built equipment on-site for our clients. You’ll also train machine operators on proper use and ensure systems are running to spec. When not traveling, you’ll assist with machine assembly at our manufacturing facility in Weyers Cave, VA. This position requires professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to install and service A.G. machinery
- Train operators and provide on-site troubleshooting and support
- Study blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures
- Inspect and test mechanical and electrical systems for accuracy and safety
- Diagnose and repair defective components, wiring, or mechanical parts
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful installs
- Uphold A.G.’s reputation for professionalism and reliability on every job site
- Assist with assembly in the Weyers Cave facility when not traveling
- Perform any additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–4 years in the electrical field
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or relevant college coursework
- Preferred Certifications: Journeyman’s Electrician License, OSHA 10/30
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery and high-voltage electrical systems
- Regular standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing
- Must be comfortable lifting:
- Up to 10 lbs regularly

About the Role:
A.G. is seeking a full-time Buyer to join our team. We build our equipment from the ground up, manufacturing many of our own parts from raw materials. As the Buyer, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, placing and tracking orders, and ensuring products are properly accounted for. Attention to detail is essential, as you’ll closely monitor vendor pricing for discrepancies and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure purchasing needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders for MRP, vendor-managed items, and other purchased items for all departments
- Process credit card orders for items not requiring a PO
- Oversee vendor-managed inventory, ensuring proper levels and product accountability
- Work with accounting and receiving to resolve PO issues during and after the receiving process
- Monitor vendor pricing for discrepancies and report issues to the purchasing manager
- Collaborate with other departments to address purchasing needs
- Assist with incoming quality inspections as needed

- Create RMAs and gather necessary information for product returns
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of buying experience
